About the Ink Doc
I'm a practicing dermatologist with 25+ years of experience. I graduated from Yale with a degree in Biology, completed an M.D. and Ph.D. at the University of Washington, and finished a residency and research fellowship in Dermatology at Harvard.
I've spent over 600 hours being inked by fifteen artists in the USA, England, France, Canada, Israel, Thailand, Brazil and Japan. To my knowledge, no dermatologist anywhere carries more ink.
I live in southern New Mexico, where I see patients of all ages, and I work for one of the fastest-growing medical practice companies in the country. I've authored multiple research articles as well as short stories, a novel and several screenplays.

I am committed to helping tattoo enthusiasts achieve their inking goals safely and effectively. All of my general advice, protocols and product recommendations are free of charge. For specific medical consultations there is a small, one-time charge for reviewing all relevant medical data and making recommendations. I endorse products I truly like, and I don't accept payments from companies whose products I endorse.
